Day 1 - San Jose - Arrival
Arriving at Juan Santamaria International Airport where you will be met and welcomed to Costa Rica. Then you are transferred for an overnight at Gran Hotel Costa Rica. This iconic hotel is in the heart of the capital allowing you to walk to some of the city's main attractions. The balance of the day is at leisure.

Day 2 - Arenal
After breakfast a rental car will be delivered to the hotel so you can drive north through beautiful countryside to Arenal, Costa Rica's most famous active volcano. Arriving by lunchtime, check into Hotel Arenal Springs Resort & Spa for a 2-night stay. With views of Arenal Volcano, your room opens onto tropical grounds that are filled with flowers and wonderful birds. Enjoy the resort's natural hot springs as well as its other sports facilities. The rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 3 - Sky Adventure Park / Arenal
This morning drive to the nearby Sky Adventures Park. Here you are treated to a ride in the Sky Tram; a gondola that takes you over the Park's tropical rainforest with its stunning views of the surrounding mountains and Lake Arenal. Once at the top, take a Sky Trek for an exciting zipline journey back over the jungle, using 7 different cable rides (both activities included). Drive back to the resort with the rest of the day and evening at leisure.

Day 4 - Manuel Antonio
Depart after breakfast to drive to Manuel Antonio seeing more of Costa Rica's wonderful scenery en route as you travel south and west towards the Pacific coast. Arriving by early afternoon, check in for a 3-night stay at the Hotel Parador and Spa, which overlooks the Pacific Ocean. The balance of the day is free to enjoy the resort's many facilities; from its spa and fitness centre to its pools with cascading waterfalls. The evening is at leisure.

Days 5 - Manuel Antonio
On your first morning, enjoy a guided, 2 1/2 hour group tour (included) of Manuel Antonio's National Park to see animals such as sloths and monkeys or even giant iguanas, as well as all the amazing birds. Afterwards you can walk other trails, spend the afternoon on the Park's stunning beach or go into the town. The following day is completely free to have more time on the beach or enjoy the hotel's amenities. The evenings are at leisure at your hotel.

Days 6 - Manuel Antonio

Day 7 - San Jose
After a leisurely breakfast, set off over the mountains to drive back to San Jose for your final night in Costa Rica at the Gran Hotel Costa Rica with the balance of the day free to see more of the city.

Day 8 - Depart Costa Rica
Today, drive to the Santamaria International Airport, where you drop off your car before departing on a flight home.
