Day 1 - Casablanca - Arrival
Arriving at the airport, receive a warm Moroccan welcome from our representative who will first take you for breakfast on the corniche overlooking the Atlantic, followed by a waterfront stroll and a visit to Hassan Il Mosque. Then check-in at your hotel and spend the afternoon at leisure. Later enjoy dinner at the famous Rick's CafƩ before returning to the hotel.

Day 2 - Rabat / Meknes / Fes
After breakfast we drive to Rabat, Morocco's capital, passing by its impressive Hassan Tower and Mohamed V Mausoleum then walk through the atmospheric Kasbah of Oudayas. Next, continue on to Meknes, where we will visit the stunning Gate of Bab el Mansour, the ancient Moulay Ismail Stables and Dar El Kebir. There will also be a stop for lunch (own account) before arriving at our final destination, Fes. Here, check in to your hotel for a 3-night stay and an evening at leisure.

Day 3 - Fes
Spend the day being guided through this ancient city. Within its walls and beyond the great ramparts and entrance gates of Bab Boujloud await tiny alleyways in the souks (markets), hushed mosques, tiled fountains, historic study halls and palaces. Enjoy a memorable Moroccan lunch in the medina (own account), then visit a leather tannery as well as a carpet co-operative and much more. The evening is at leisure and overnight is at your hotel.

Day 4 - Fes
Spend a full day at leisure exploring this historic Imperial city where time has stood still and lives are unchanged for hundreds of years or you can take part in some optional activities. The evening is free to continue discovering the magic of Fes and the overnight is at your hotel. Optional Activities: Morning cooking class. Afternoon pottery workshop. Half-day to the Roman ruins at Volubilis.

Day 5 - Beni Mellal / Marrakech
Depart after breakfast for a lovely day's drive south to the magnificent city of Marrakech. En route we stop in the foothills of the Atlas Mountains at Beni Mellal which is known for its 17th Century Kasbah and where we'll have lunch (own account). Arrive at your hotel later this afternoon and check in for a 3-night stay. The evening is at leisure to explore the city's many restaurants and take in this ancient city's ambiance.

Day 6 - Marrakech
Enjoy today's sightseeing in the 'Red City', so called due to its red-painted buildings. Start in the beautiful Majorelle tropical gardens, and then view the Koutoubia Minaret that dominates the city's skyline, before visiting the Bahia Palace. Stop by the Dar Si Said Museum with its wonderful Berber crafts, before having lunch in the medina (own account). This afternoon explore Djemaa El Fna Square, the lively and bustling cultural heart of Marrakech. The evening is at leisure and overnight is at your hotel.

Day 7 - Marrakech
The day is free to explore the city on your own or, you can choose from several interesting optional excursions to get a further flavour of Morocco and it's people. Then in the late afternoon set out with guide to discover Marrakech's street food for which it is famous. The balance of the evening is at leisure and overnight is at your hotel. Optional Activities: Cooking workshop in a guesthouse.

Day 8 - Ait Ben Haddou / Skoura / Zagora
Today, we travel over the Atlas Mountains with stunning views of the countryside. En route, savour the local ambiance during short stops at some small villages as well as visit the UNESCO World Heritage site, Ait Ben Haddou, an ancient Kasbah on a former caravan route, where Lawrence of Arabia and parts of the Game of Thrones were filmed. Have lunch (own account) in the oasis town of Skoura before arriving in Zagora for a 2-night stay at your hotel. The evening is at leisure.

Day 9 - Erfoud / Merzouga & the Sahara Desert
This morning set off to experience the Sahara Desert. Driving through the lands of the Berber tribes via Erfoud, swap your vehicle at Merzouga, the gateway to the desert, for a 4-wheel drive as you head towards your Berber campsite. Tonight enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner then go star-gazing with your Berber guide before retiring to your comfortable tent for the night.

Day 10 - Tineghir / Ouarzazate
Take an early morning camel ride to watch the sun come up over the great desert sand dunes then return to camp for a tasty Berber breakfast. Afterwards, we travel via the oasis town of Tineghir, known for its palm groves and lovely views, to see the dramatic Todrah Gorge, carved out of the eastern side of the Atlas Mountains. There will be a stop for lunch (own account) before arriving in Ouarzazate for an overnight at your hotel, and an evening at leisure.

Day 11 - Ouarzazate / Marrakech
After breakfast we visit the famous Taourirt Kasbah. Built in the 17th Century, this impressive fortress was influenced by Morocco's Imperial cities' architecture and is a wonder to behold. Afterwards, head back over the Atlas Mountains to Marrakech, with the balance of the day and evening at leisure and a final night at your hotel.

Day 12 - Depart Morocco
Following breakfast and checking-out from your hotel, you will be transferred to the Menara Airport in Marrakech for your homeward flight.
