On this easy driving holiday you’ll not only travel through lovely countryside and along a magnificent coastline, but you’ll see many historic towns, some of them with UNESCO World Heritage sites including Mostar in Bosnia-Herzegovina. Day 1 - Dubrovnik ā€“ Arrival
Welcome to Croatia! On your arrival at Dubrovnik airport, you are met and transferred into Dubrovnik to spend 2 nights at the Grand Park Hotel. The balance of the day is at leisure to explore this amazing city on your own.

Day 2 - Dubrovnik
Devote the day to discovering the 'Adriatic Pearl', as Dubrovnik is called. This amazing, walled city that encloses the Old Town and the Rector's Palace, which is now a history museum, is full of endless delights. And, if you are a fan of the Game of Thrones, some episodes of the series were filmed here. You could also take a cable car up Srdj Hill for stunning views of this magnificent city. The evening is at leisure and overnight at your hotel.

Day 3 - Dubrovnik / Pocitelj / Mostar
After breakfast, drive north along the coast via Neum then inland to Metkovic where you cross into Bosnia-Herzegovina. Continue on to Pocitelj to visit this beautiful village, which overlooks the Neretva River and is built in the Ottoman Empire style. Arriving by lunchtime in Mostar, check in to the City Hotel for an overnight stay. Spend the rest of the day walking around attractive Mostar, famous for its historic bridge, now a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Day 4 - Medjugorje / Plitvice / Zagreb
Depart this morning, driving north with a suggested stop at Medjugorje, an important Catholic pilgrimage site. After returning to Croatia, drive on to the UNESCO-protected Plitvice Lakes National Park, where you can enjoy a boat tour or have a walk and even have lunch. Arrive this afternoon in Zagreb, Croatia's capital, for a 1-night stay at Hotel International. The remainder of the day is at leisure to start exploring the city that is filled with Gothic architecture, many churches and interesting museums.

Day 5 - Zagreb / Zadar
Following breakfast, take another walk through Zagreb's lovely streets to the historic Upper Town where its most important churches are found as well as the Parliament and Government Palace. Departing later this morning, your 3-hour drive will take you through lovely countryside as you head to the Adriatic coast. Arrive in the ancient port town of Zadar for a 2-night stay at the Hotel Kolovare, which is located across from the beach and a short distance from the medieval centre Zadar.

Day 6 - Zadar
Today enjoy a full day at leisure, exploring Zadar. Within the town you will see everything from Roman to Venetian ruins to 9th to 12th century churches and you can even rent a bicycle to get around. While by the sea, spend time on the beach or perhaps take an excursion such as kayaking, half-day sailing cruises or just relax and enjoy Zadar's ambiance. In the evening there are many restaurants and a laid-back nightlife. Overnight is at your hotel.

Day 7- Sibenik / Trogir / Split
Depart after breakfast and drive south along the Adriatic with suggested two stops en route. The first is at Sibenik, well known for its cathedral and palace. Then visit Trogir, a UNESCO World Heritage site, full of Renaissance and Baroque buildings set on an island connected to the mainland by attractive bridges. Arrive in beautiful Split by mid-afternoon and spend the next 2 nights at the Fermai Hotel. The balance of the day and evening is at leisure.

Day 8 - Split
The day is free to walk through this historic town with its abundance of ancient structures. Of special interest is the wonderful Diocletian Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the city's most revered buildings. For he rest of the day there is time to relax, have a swim or walk on the beach or do more exploring on your own. This evening is at leisure and overnight is at your hotel.

Day 9 - Depart Croatia
Today, you drive to Split Airport and drop off your rental car before your flight home.
