Day 1 - Nairobi - Arrival
JAMBO - Welcome to Kenya! On arrival at Nairobi International Airport, you will be greeted warmly by our representative, and then transferred to the Sarova Panafric Hotel for 2 nights. After your flight, the balance of the day and evening is free to relax.

Day 2 - Nairobi
Following breakfast, set off to the Daphne Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage, to meet these orphaned babies and learn how they were rescued. Next, visit the Karen Blixen Museum, the original home made famous in her Out of Africa book, where you also have lunch. Then tour the renowned Giraffe Centre for a rare opportunity to get close to these gentle giants. Return to the hotel before being hosted to a dinner with a prominent Kenyan family at their home. Overnight is at your hotel.

Day 3 - Samburu Game Reserve
We leave this morning and travel through the scenic Central Highlands to the Samburu Game Reserve, crossing the Equator en route. Arriving at the Elephant Bedroom Camp by lunchtime, discover an intimate tented camp on the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River. After settling in, head out on your first exciting game drive, looking for some of Samburu's unique wildlife such as gerenuk, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich and Grevyās zebra. Dinner and overnight is at the camp.

Day 4 - Aberdare National Park
Heading south we travel to the Aberdare National Park, having lunch first at the lovely Aberdare Country Club before proceeding to The Ark. Here the wildlife comes to you while spending the afternoon and evening game-viewing right from the lodge's many balconies. Below these viewing points are saltlicks and waterholes that are also floodlit at night, where elephants, water buck, giant forest hogs, buffalo and occasionally even the elusive leopard come to drink. Dinner and overnight is at your hotel.

Day 5 - Lake Naivasha
Today, continue towards the Great Rift Valley with a brief and interesting stop at the Equator. Arriving at Lake Naivasha, check into the Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge where you can have lunch and relax. Later this afternoon, enjoy a boat ride on the lake with its amazing array of birds; from Fish Eagles to pelicans as well as groups of hippos wallowing in hippo pools. Dinner and overnight is at the lodge.
Optional Excursion: Boat cruise to Crescent Island Game Sanctuary.

Day 6 - Masai Mara Game Reserve
Following breakfast, we drive through more dazzling countryside to enter the Masai Mara, Kenya's foremost game reserve, and arrive at the luxurious Tipilikwani Mara Tented Camp, situated above the Talek River, where you'll spend the next 2 nights. After lunch and a rest, it's time to explore these vast grasslands that are teeming with wildlife, especially the Big 5 - Cape buffalo, lion, elephant, rhino and the beautiful leopard. Dinner and overnight is at the camp.

Day 7 - Masai Mara Game Reserve
Today you'll have an early morning and afternoon game drive plus time to relax at the pool and enjoy the camp's authentic ambiance. Each drive will have amazing photo-ops of families of elephants, lion prides, or of vast herds of wildebeest during their seasonal migration. Colourful birds, giraffe, jackals, impala, cheetah and baboons are just some of the many animals you'll encounter in the Reserve. Dinner and overnight is again at the camp.
Optional Excursion: Hot Air Ballooning followed by a bush breakfast.

Day 8 - Nairobi / Depart Kenya
It's time to bid farewell to Kenya, its incredible wildlife and your wonderful driver-guides but you'll leave with amazing memories and photos! Travel back to Nairobi, and transfer to the Kilimanjaro International Airport in time for your onward flight home.

Optional Excursion Details:
Crescent Island Game Sanctuary: Accessible only by boat, this excursion gets you up close to not only many exotic birds but also an abundance of wildebeest, zebra and waterbuck.
Hot Air Ballooning: Watch the sun rise while floating silently above the Masai Mara plains with a bird's eye view of Africa's wildlife busy with their day. Your flight ends with a sumptuous, bush breakfast served under an Acacia tree before returning to camp.
